COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Festa Italiana SLC is an immersive cultural street festival geared toward preserving and perpetuating the deep rooted Italian culture of Salt Lake City. Created by members of the Italian American Civic League, one of Utah’s oldest 501c(3) organizations, Festa Italiana SLC also has the same drive to support civics organizations throughout the state. Since 2015, Festa has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Salt Lake Community and organizations that are vital to the health and well being of our city and its residents.
Catholic Community Services has been an outstanding partner of Festa Italiana SLC, providing volunteers and support during the 2 day festival. Each year Festa donates a large portion of the proceeds to CCS to support their homeless and refugee outreach services. In addition the committee members donate a Sunday in November to prepare food for over 400 people in need.
