3rd Annual Vintage bike ride

Details of the event

Join us for a short, 5k ride in the spirit of the bygone era of cycling.

All riders, no matter the level or type of bike, are welcome.

What to ride:

Old bikes with single-speed drivetrains, flip-flop hubs, rod derailleurs, etc are encouraged.

What to wear:

Wool jerseys and shorts as well as other vintage bike attire are also encouraged. Unlike cyclists from decades ago, we highly encourage helmets.

Where:

Meet on 500 W near the cul-de-sac to the west of Gateway.

Schedule:

10:30 check-in and light breakfast

11:15 start the ride at your own pace

12:15 prizes are announced on stage at Festa Italiana at the Gateway

Registrations include:

Light breakfast

Insurance through USA Cycling

Route with traffic control at intersections

The ride will happen rain or shine. No refunds.
