Welcome to Festa Italiana SLC, Utah's Premier Cultural Experience. Hosted at the beautiful Gateway Plaza our guests enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Downtown Salt Lake City while exploring the culture, entertainment and culinary diversity of Utah’s thriving Italian community.
Founded by members of the Italian American Civic League the two day festival highlights include live Italian entertainment, food booths highlighting the regions of Italian cuisine, Italian beer and imported Italian wine, arts & crafts, historical displays, children’s sections, exotic Italian cars, street performers, and much more!
Proceeds from the festival will support local and national non-profit charitable organizations supported by the Italian-American Civic League of Utah.
Salt Lake is home to many incredible street, art and cultural festivals and that is why we put so much effort into Festa Italiana SLC! After visiting Italian festivals in some of the great cities across the country, our organization wanted to bring Italian culture, food and entertainment to the mix. It is our goal to give a little taste of what we know as Italian-Americans to anyone who attends the festival. We hope to see you there!
FOOD & DRINK
Whether amongst family, friends, or strangers food serves as the backbone for any social gathering. Making it an important centerpiece to the festival. Come sample a wide variety of local Italian restaurants, imported wines, bellini’s and of course ice cold beer.
ENTERTAINMENT
Italian music and arts are some of the most well known studied and replicated in the world. The John C Kish foundation, as the main stage sponsor, has allowed us to bring acts all the way from Italy to our stage! We strive to provide an authentic lineup of entertainment as well as some local favorites.

Festa Italiana 2023 was a success
Festa Italiana SLC 2023 marked our 8th annual event and it was our most attended Festa to date! We are grateful to everyone who supported us and we look forward to seeing you in 2024.
The Gateway will once again be hosting the 2 day festival in 2024, so mark your calendars September 14-15th! The Gateway is conveniently location to UTA Trax & Frontrunner, private avenue, and Olympic Plaza make this the perfect venue for a successful event. The Gateway shops are also open during the festival, so pop in and support the businesses that support us!
Booth Space - APPLY NOW. Space is limited and will be awarded based on a variety of factors to maintain the Italian authenticity of the festival. Italian food only.
